Company HistoryJRW Investments began with the acquisition of several Edwin Watts Golf retail store properties. Today JRW Investments owns and manages over 200,000 sf of retail commercial property in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, and Texas. Currently JRW Investments is working on the development of several large parcels of land in the Crestview area of NW Florida. In all the land holdings include close to 10,000 acres of developable land.Executive BiographiesRonnie Watt ~ Owner and FounderRonnie Watts has worked for over 40 years in real estate and for close to 35 years in the retail golf business. Edwin Watts Golf, a business he co-founded with his brother Edwin Watts was started on seed money made from real estate profits. For his 35 years in the golf business Ronnie was the driving force behind the growth and expansion of Edwin Watts Golf. Many of the now operating 61 locations are locations that he hand picked. In addition to the retail locations that Ronnie selected, he also developed several residential subdivisions in the NW Florida area including Sandy Dunes, Sandy Point and Savannah Plantation. Jody Watts worked in the golf retail business from 16 years. Jody worked for 10 years in distribution and management of retail stores. For 6 years he worked on site selection and lease negotiation. Jody did the site and prep work for 6 of the Edwin Watts store locations including Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Doral, Houston and Buckhead. Currently he is in the process of developing a 51 lot residential subdivision in the Crestview area and is responsible for all commercial transactions for JRW Investments. |
